Idle Stall Again

I have searched and read every post on here about stalling so here goes my E-46 Issue.
Sometimes:
1. When I brake going around turns, sometimes my idle drops and stalls
2. When stopped at lights, it revs and drops, up and down
3. Sometimes when breaking fast, like at a stoplight, it will idle drop and stall.
4. When at a light, and idleing up and down, I can put it in neutral, and it will usually slow and stop to normal fixed idle. Or, I can put it in park and jam on the gas, or I can turn off the car, and turn it back on again, and it 'resets'

One post mentioned turning off the seat warmer because of voltage. I live with the seat warmer on all the time, so I will try this and see it it helps.

My old Ford Escort did the same thing whenever I put in HIGH ETHANOL gas or Cheap gas, and the ford only did it with the 'summer blend' of gas. I am wondering if my BMW has issues now with the Cheap Wawa 92 gas? Again, I am sure it has high ethanol...

Any thoughts??? Not trying to spend any money.. broke.

I try to avoid wawa gas. My dad and I were talking about this last night. It says on their pumps that its like 10% ethanol or somethin like that. He thinks it makes his corvette run poorly so he doesnt use it. I usually go to royal farms since there is one next to every wawa here.

My car was stalling around corners with same idle problems slowing. The inlet cam shaft sensor was bad and finally hard failed at Costco and required a tow to the dealership. Previous, I had the car at the dealership complaining of these symptoms but, unfortunately, no codes, so no fix. It had to hard fail.

Yeah.. that is what i was afraid of. When I read all the other posts, there was like 10 different possible issues with the car, and no way to tell which it is. If i pay to have the seals replaced, it could be something else, and so on and so on.. when I had both my honda and my ford, I spent 1000's chasing various problems, and I am trying to not pay anything for this.. I will try some gas additives like injector cleaners and crap like that, avoid wawa gas for a little while and see if it helps. I just spent $100 for my regulator, $30 for my washer pump, and I am spending $50 for the cowl. I still haven't changed my plugs, tranny fluid, and air filter and that will set me back $400 too.. so I am not really up for spending more than I have to.. P.S. I am now an E46 window regulator pro.. I can change it out in like 30 min start to finish.. I did a buddies of mine, and both of my front ones. But anyway,, thank you for the help!!!

The final fix for all of my idle problems was flashing the DME with an updated program. This was after throwing $$$ after $$$ on replacing parts.
You don't have to go to BMW but you might want to call them and ask how much they charge. I went to an independent I know and paid $100
for the update. The car seems to run better and shift better too.
