Interesting to see 3 way in the car. So the 3" mid can fit in the tweeter location with a little custom work? Interesting.
That 2" mid section slightly behind the front seats, cant that be dremeled a little to fit the 3" mid there as well and possibly use the speakers grille if need be?

never heard the krx2, but alot of midrange comes out of that little 3" mid
also my e46 already had the wiring for a 3-way, so why not hehe also the krx3 has more crossover settings, which is very useful for balancing the sound |

Mspeed,
How is the sound and the tweeters coming along, are you thinking of aiming them differently ? Does the drivers side with the cavity sound a little better than the one on the passengers side? How deep is that JL subwoofer? RMS? Thanks.

im using an audison LRx 4.1, it puts 130w into L/R, 500w into the sub
very happy with the sub, it produces more bass than I will ever need. it sounds clean, deep and very natural.. most importantly blends extremely well focals could be better for the price.. maybe its the stock head unit thats holding me back.. I havent tried it playing with the tweeter alignment, but they are aimed right at my face so i have them at -6db on the crossover |
