Found out I had a fake shark fin on the car.

Guess not a big deal, the thing was painted the same color as my car. I was messing with it to see how I could look at uninstalling it. Did not go that great with my rear CF spoiler. I bought the car used and looked stock to me, same color as the car. When pulling up on it, I saw no wires, was scared to take the base off....no hole in the roof, nothing. Sitting in my trunk right now. Got to wax the goop off that it was stuck on with. It is not 3M tape, it is a black adhesive. Color matches the paint perfect. It actually came apart in 2 pieces. I was researching a few old threads.....said, hey, I do not have a BMW NAV kit, and added the XM radio BMW adapter later on....did not want to mess with the headliner....and just popped off like a bottle cap.

Did a search on Ebay for shark fin replicas......this one does not look like the others, looks OEM and painted same silver grey as my car.

It is off, the rear window Strass CF spoiler (replica) I have had for about 3 months looks so much better now. After that went on a rampage, thinking about bringing the car back to stock and trading it in. I love the eyebrows but just got done taking them off the car. Got them in the garage now. Still thinking about selling all the Dinan parts and stuff....putting my sport rims on, and trading it in for a used 335i. Might be my sleep talking, but I see all the other guys parting the cars out before trading them in. I love this car....but the smart thing tells me to keep it. Almost removed the Gruppe M and put the OEM box back on. Anyone else get in a mood to change their car up.....or change it back? Or am I just going through a phase again. I got the trade in bug again. 335 is really calling my name.

Is your car paid off? Will you have to take on debt to get the 335? How many miles you got on her?

I've tossed around the idea of trading mine in too but then I don't want to keep doing that. Feels like I am just burning money. Cars are just such a bad investment and waste of money to be changing them all the time. Think of how much money you would save by keeping the paid off car around. Still is cheaper to do minor repairs and maint. than monthly car payments.

Why not just throw a super charger in your car? You would be able to keep up with if not beat 335's.
