Fun with a scammer
cliff
-some guy tried to scam me over paypal/cl -hes in west africa -I need ideas of what else to do okay heres the story, I posted my laptop up for sale on cl to see how the scammers where scamming all those ppl. It ended up that what they do is ask you if u accept paypal and if ur willing to ship to west africa. On top of that they usually say that they will pay you extra for your troubles. After you send them your paypal email address they send you a fake paypal email that says some thing like "we have received funds from xxxxx, and will credit your account once we get the tracking number" Well so far Ive mostly been having fun with my scammer, giving him crazy stories, and mostly wasting his time (time hes messing with me he cant scam someone else). But now its time to really send him the laptop as I believe he is losing faith he will get it. I told him that the only way to get the laptop is for me to get the money from paypal as I need it to pay for the shipping, and even though Ive called paypal sooo many times and they still dont know what Im talking about, I got them to "advance" me the money in exchange for his picture with a sign that says (sorry about the way its spelt, I dont want him to google this) " I..g.i.v.e..b.l.u.m.p.k.i.n.s..,..MMB e46f ftw". Hes tried a lot of different things in order to not send me the picture but hes promising today that he will send it. I did half ass the shipping site, so if anyone could make a better one? www.acmeshipping.com also does anyone have any ideas for what else to do with this POS? If he sends the pic I will def post it. |
