Thumbs down Dodge's Goal: 0-60 is 10 seconds.

http://jalopnik.com/5360028/michael-j-accavitti--

Oh, I get it now. It makes so much sense now. Dodge has been AIMING for 10 second 0-60 times. I thought they were trying for speedy and missing the mark.

Head Design Engineer: "Well, the guys upstairs want another new car design. And this time they want us to mix it up, really innovate."

Underling Design Engineer #1:
"Can we make it powerful and go fast?"

Head Dodge Design Engineer:
"No, the 10-second target 0-60 time still stands."

Underling Design Engineer #2:
"Does it have to be crap?"

Head Dodge Design Engineer:
"Yes. That mandate still stands as well."

Underling Design Engineer #2:
"But don't they know that we could build some really good, kick-ass, world class cars?"

Head Dodge Design Engineer:
"It is not our place to doubt the executives. I can only assume that a really good, kick-ass, world class car wouldn't sell."

Underling Design Engineers #'s 1 & 2:
"Oh."

I was really excited about the Challenger. Until I sat in it and drove it for a few miles.

I was really excited about the C6 vette. Meh.

I was really excited about the Taurus SHO. Then I sat in it this past weekend. Now I want one so bad because it is AMAZING.

The new SHO is

I would probably consider buying one but I heard they only come with auto's, I hope I'm wrong.

No no no! Usually I'd agree, but the SHO interior just this feeling that I've never felt in an American vehicle including any new Caddy. It just felt like it would last. Granted, the trim felt chintzy and the cup holders were meh in the center console, but I was pleased.

Depreciation is what kills it for me. TO me i see the SHO and the TL-S SH on the same page. I'd go for the TL everytime.

I stoppped drinking those a while ago. I drink my costco Jose's coffee from my Mr. Coffee drip machine and haven't looked back. Its mediocre coffee for sure, but it costs pennys compared to Starbucks.

Cupholders to me are just a way of encouraging a spill waiting to happen.
