allergic to certain fruits and veggies?

whenever I eat apples, cherries, almonds, sugar snap peas, and some others I get this weird itching feeling in my mouth. It's fuucking annoying and it came out of no where. Has anyone else experienced this and what is it in these fruits and veggies that I may be allergic to?

I get the same feeling when I eat pineapple. Unfortunately pineapple is my favorite fruit, so I just deal with it

dude I had a tiny cut on my upper lip yesterday and my lip got a little fat from it lol

I have this problem with most fruits. I love eating fruit, but my mouth/lips get fat, and I get the same itching feeling in my mouth.

acidic fruits will do that man. I use to get them from oranges, not really anymore

that sucks, ive never had swelling from it and its only from pineapple, but i do get that scratchy feeling in the back of my mouth and throat. but pineapples are just too

Same thing happens to me when I eat apples... I think its from the skin.

i had this happen when i ate dried fruit i dunno why but it was the weirdest most annoying thing.

its prob all the damn pesticides and crap they pump into them .. haha .... My mom just started getting this a few yrs back and she kept eating them until she got a serious reaction from it (it worsened with time, weird)

frick you guys i got the same thing, a couple years ago at grad partys i had a bunch of fruit. well three years later it's gotten way worse. I can't have like any fruits or my throat gets itchy, my throat kinda closes up, i start coughing a lot, get a chest cold and that little thing that hangs down in your throat gets kinda swelled up and falls into your throat while swallowing and it hurts!! You're becoming allergic to the fruits and vegetables. If you cook them though, like on pizza you're normally fine or steam your veggies then it cooks out most of the allergens. but yea i have it and it's weird, it used to be worth it to just deal with it but now its really bad on me. I ate 10 blueberrys on a surfing trip last summer and i had a baaad chest cough the whole weekend, sucked.

Oranges
Grapefruit
Tangerines
Any exotic fruit like Papayas, lychee, etc

I basically won't eat anything besides apples, strawberries, and pineapple. Everything else gives me an itch mouth and makes it hard for me to breathe
