Question Hmm, what to do what to do..

My poor baby has been craving a lot of attention lately and I feel bad for even thinking of doing this, but...

Should I spend the [roughly] $1000 to fix her up and all, or should I just take that $1000 + the car and trade it in?

I've been working on a couple E90's recently and they seem to have their fair share of problems... but I don't know if it'll be worth it, especially since I love her soo muchh.

Suggestions?

What does it need?

Wow, but who is going to buy it with those problems?!
By the way, the list doesn't seem so bad and most of it appears to be easy diy and
regular maintenance.

bahaha. The list is very simple and I'm usually working on a BMW here and there about 4 times a week so I can pretty much do it blind-folded... but it's hard to get to my own when I work roughly 62hours a week.

Been delaying the repairs [bad bad owner, I know.] but now that I'm getting my money sorted out and all, I thought it might be a great time to upgrade? I'll most likely not do it, but I thought I'd see what suggestions I'd get to maybe sell me into it =P

Almost all of those items are standard maintenance on ANY car, just suck it up and DIY.

E46 looks better IMO, don't know why you would "upgrade" lol
Fix her up. Not too shabby of a list.

Repairs + new front bumper = brand new set of shoes for your baby. You'd likely take a hit on this stuff anyway when you went to sell.

Fix the minor mx problems on it. If the car is paid off, keep that sucker. If not, you are going to go upside down on your trade. Bulbs, belts, stuff like that...cheap. Looks like a nice car and a 2004 is still pretty new. Put some Akebono pads on it, not too expensive. I say you have a keeper.

EDIT: And air filter, cabin filter....come on dude, do not even list those.....LOL.

Fix her up! lol... The list ain't so bad. Last month, my list of problems to fix was way longer and badder.

Now, I'm just left with fuel filter, spark plugs, air filter. Which I am going to do today.
