Does your car ever attract NEGATIVE or UNWANTED attention?

from anyone besides cops

ive always loved my car and take pride in taking care of her and always keeping her looking good, whether its with mods and meticulous cleaning, and even though i enjoy the attention i get from people when i go out (no gonna lie), sometimes there are places i feel i cant go to in my car because it simply attracts too much unwanted attention or rude/disrespectful people cross the line with giving her TOO much attention...

about a month ago i went to a local burger joint at 2 AM for some food, it was a burger cart place in the middle of a parking lot in west orlando, sketchy, but amazing food anyways, by the time i got there there were a ton of drunk people there, it was a popular spot for people after the clubs got out so naturally there were a good number of them. i pulled up and parked in my usual spot by where everyone sat, immediately i got a bunch of looks and people started pointing and making comments about the car, which i didnt pay too much attention to, and went to get my burger. after i got my food i sat down and was ready to eat, i always sit in a spot where i can see my car and with good reason.

i looked over at my car repeatedly after a small group of drunken morons decided to form a circle around my car, pointing and commenting, and even came close to putting their hands on my windows to try to see inside, which to a degree i didnt mind TOO much. now ive had people do some disrespectful **** around my car, like lean on it or sit on my hood, which i promptly tell them to get off in a less than respectful manner, but this particular night probably took the cake...

one of the drunken sluts in the group (not hot), decides to take a picture with my car after eyeing it, and PUTS HER STILETTO HEEL on the corner of my front bumper right smack where my bumper met the fender, and was trying to pose while literally stepping INTO my car...

it took every ounce of strength in my not to get up and knock that ***** the **** out, i immediately yelled at her from my seat, and literally said "HEY! GET THE **** OFF MY CAR!"...

she looks over and ignores me.... wow.... so i yell at her again to get the **** off my car, at which point she does, but her skinny ass guido boyfriend decides to play hero and starts yelling cuss words at me and asking me what my problem was, so i get up and walk towards the group, i walk right through them to check on my car, thank god for my clear bra... no scuffs or scratches from her heel... i told him that you dont put your foot on other people's cars and again to get away from my car

at which point him and his "boys" wanted to fight, but one of his friends grabs him and whispers something to him in spanish (couldnt understand) and points at my ankle... (dont usually wear my ankle holster with my true religion jeans because they fit me tighter and makes the holster more "noticeable", but still well concealed)

immediately he gets pulled away and his friend apologizes repeatedly with his hands up in a "im sorry" gesture and walks off with him and his group of *****es.

Any stories from you guys involving your car and getting negative attention or disrespectful **** tards?

Back when I used to work at a small plaza with various stores my car got keyed/damaged a couple of times, it was brand new at the time. It would always be after I washed it or did something to make it look good(wheels, lights, etc.) so it definitely got attention, some unwanted.

mate i dont understand this bit? what exactly did that do to make them apologise and leave?

and yeah ive had issues. one day, in broad daylight, i was taking a mate to pick up his car which had just received a transplant (stopped off at mcdonalds on the way in a dodgy area) when i see 2 guys walking around the carpark. they skipped all the other shltboxes and got to my car and are looking inside.. anyways we all got up and went straight up to them. i didnt want to wait till they actually did anything. they left the carpark straight after.

Your thread title DOES ask "Does YOUR car" .

But yea. When people ask me what I drive I usually say Camry. Then one day when they finally see my key or car you get all the criticism there is. "Wow I'm sorry Mr. Bimmer!", "Spoiled as fvck!", "Damn you're ballin!" etc.

I find that extremely funny considering the amount of nice cars at my school. IS350/G35/Elise/Exige/Carrera/NSX/E90/E92/new C class's.

$6k more and I can finally trade this crapmobile away.

I always thought lying about your car is stupid, if you're so ashamed of it why get it in the first place.
