How to ID sport spring in junk yard?

What are the signs that a car definitely has sport springs? Can't measure fender/rim distance b/c of the state of the cars in junk yards. Is a three spoke steering wheel, clear corner lenses, sport seats... any of these items ONLY available with a sport suspension?

My car has factory sports package and it came with the three spoke steering wheel, 17" wheels, and sport seats. Hope that helps.

There are multiple sport package springs, BMW used different spring rates to account for the different weights of various optional equipment. If you are replacing a spring on your car, just match up the colors of the paint stripes on the spring.
