Talking Finally Got My Car Back From the Body shop not 56k Friendly



So after months of waiting i finally got my car back from the shop! we all know how stressful it is lol well here are some pics for people that asked and for peep 2 see... i have no idea what else im going to do with it now.. i was just f*cked over buying an m3 engine and tranny from a guy on craigslist the engine has a blown head and tranny in burnt up so im holding off on the engine and tranny swap.. And i know i need to register the vehicle here because of the out of state plates lol

i know im debating on having it all fixed and the worse part is i try to contact the guy i got the engine and tranny and his phone is disconnected =( i also did the m3 suspension and struts all around but didn't notice much of a difference

Well i understand that you're getting an S54 for it, but IMO, i would rather have an S54 without the side grilles/gills.

Its cleaner, and more of a "sleeper".

But to each is to own, and at least you are putting an S54 in it.

yes i know there are many m3 parts that are acceptable on non-m cars... rims, bumpers and sides skirts, spoilers, trunks, mirrors... and so forth

but the fender grills is a mortal sin of modding an e46, sorry but it is

regardless, if you like it, that's all that matters

honestly no joke i was debating putting them on so i bought a spare set of fenders to try it out see how it looks and see the feedback i get from it... thanks for the feedback ill look into putting the original ones back on =)

drop the fenders or do something custom with that space instead of grills maybe RD fenders? aside from that keep the sleeper theme going with tasteful mirrors (no need for f1 status here j/k) and some coilovers asap to fix the wheel gap

I really hope they did more work to the spare tire well/muffler area. Looks sketch at best.

They spent along time on the spare tire well/ muffler area they just put the muffler up to see how it would look in that pic... basically they used 3 layers of material welded it tigg welded it and other **** idk, then used an oem m3 heat shield.. but its far from sketch
