Wing Mirror Madness - Electrical Help Required
OK - here we go ....I had a badly damaged drivers door on my coupe (2001)and I managed to source a good door as a direct replacement (bolt off bolt on job) however after disposing of my old door I noticed that my wing mirrors werent working, after further investigation - I discovered I had a 12 pin on the new door and my old one was a 6 pin.
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to correct this (buy a 6 pin mirror~? or can you adjust the wires?) I have suffered this for 2 years - anyone got the energy to provide a solution? Mirrors are not folding type. |

I believed the 12-pin is for E46 with seat and rear mirror memory option. Does your car have this option? As far as I know, they are not interchangable. One is using digital signal and the other is analog.
