wheel bearing? or hub bearing?
I have this Whooo-ing~ Noise when I slightly turn to right..
My mechanic wasn't able to tell what this noise was and dealer told me that it is left wheel bearing that's causing it. But they were not sure.... I searched around a little.. and I assumed that wheel bearing is something that they are refering to hub bearing..(Where you mount wheel?) Am I correct? On Tischer's website, it was about $80.. Dealer was asking for $428 including install... Am I looking at wrong part? or is dealer just stupid.. or is it really hard to install? And should I get new wheel bearing on both sides or just the bad side?

The front bearing comes as part of the entire hub. The rear bearing is a separate bearing.
That is probably where the discrepancy in cost comes from.

So when you say hub bearing, it's entire thing? and when we say wheel bearing it's only small portion of entire thing?
I would rather change entire hub tho.. And my sound is coming from front...

See my post on your other thread. On the AWD you do not have the option of buying a hub/bearing assembly. You have to buy a separate bearing just like on the rear of the AWD and RWD cars.
