Catchin' flack from a Z4 owner!

I work at a bar on the weekends. We have a regular customer who is in his mid 20's come in last weekend, bragging to everyone who would listen about his new to him 2005 Z4. This guy is a tool, hands down. Either way, we begin to talk about his car and it comes up that I have a 2001 M3. He continues to make me aware that his Z4 is faster straight line, handles better and overall is a better car. He also made me "aware" that he has the only production Z4 that came with "twin superchargers". After arguing for a short period of time and trying to take the high road, I had to inform him of a few facts about the M. He still wanted to hear none of it and in fact became pissed off because he was sure he was right in that his car was a better "performance" machine. Come to find out he put the majority of the car on a credit card of an ex girlfriend, enough said! Young arrogant guy who doesn't respect what he is driving, let alone the other people that drive BMW's. It has always been my position that most people who drive BMW's have a true appreciation for vehicles. This obviously does not apply here. Anyone else have this happen to them?

He sounds like a tool over-compensating for something. Remind him that there is Z4 on every street corner for a reason and mostly owned by chicks (no offense M3 girls). Plus, mention the 100+ horsepower difference between the two cars. Hard to argue that.

if i were you, hire like 10 girls to come in and just bash on the ugly z4 outside, and that the sexy m3 sitting out front is to die for.

I ignore conversations with idiots. Do you expect to change their mind?

Exclamation

The (2005) E85 Z4 has the same S54 as our car, the new E89 has an (I6) with a twin turbo. His Z4 also weighs about the same as our car and has many of the same components.

This guy has no idea what he is talking about.

+1 he is going to say whatever he can to bring you down to his childish level or arguing. The truth is, if others are hearing this conversation and know anything about cars, they also know this kid is a tool.
Ignorance and stupidity have a way of showing themself, don't jump in that boat.

Couldn't agree more guys. He claimed it was a 3.0i. I explained the differences as best as I could. Pretty sure there is about a 100 hp difference not to mention they do weigh about the same...If I was a few years younger I might line him up, or at least strategically find myself on a windy road with him late one night. Learning by example might make him a little more aware!

People that blow hard, are just that( blow hards). As Bimmerfan08 mentioned, 1). enthusiasts= (M3 material)2).1/2 a person=tool 3).Ignorant+innocent= Moms+Business People. A long winding road would soon sort the men from the Z owners. Sorry if I omitted any M3 females from the MIx and tell the Customer to Blow Harder
