Psycho interview today
I had a real nutcase who came in for interview today. He was very quick to answer questions on his resume, but as I dug a little deeper he struggled for answers. He appeared competent until.....
"Why don't you throw another ****ing dagger at me", he muttered under his breath after I stumped him on a question. "Excuse me?" "Oh nothing". I seriously didn't believe he would have said that so I continued. He got stuck on a couple more question then when I asked to describe what TCP is he went berserk. "No, I'm not going to answer any more questions." He picked up his jacket "I'm not doing this for money, I'm not going to put up with you guys questioning me. You f*cking a$$hole". He stormed out of the interview room, I was totally stunned. When I went out of the room he spit on the floor in front of me in disdain. Then started cursing nonstop while walking himself out. I was still in shock, but realized I need to make sure this crazy dude gets walked out. I told him "it didn't work out, I'll just walk you out." "NO! Do not walk me out! I don't want to see your f*cking face! Don't follow me!". Still cursing down the hallway to the door. I told him goodbye at the door, and he screamed "Don't you even try to come near, I'll f*cking stomp on your toes". Incredible. We called the cops on him in case he's hanging around the parking lot. There are some seriously bipolar people in this world. |

omg had one today....some older chic but she was soooooooo nervous that she couldnt even tell her story straight. i felt so bad cause i wasnt even trying to be intimidating or anything. had 30 min with her, then it was my directors turn..dude was only in there for like 8 minutes and he walked out of the room saying fu.ck no! it wasnt a pyscho interview but i thought she was one of them that would totally talk to herself endlessly in her cube. it was a very bizarre interview.
felt bad, some developers just dont have people skills...

4 out of his last 6 jobs he didn't stay for more than 6 months. He's been on a leave of absence since May 08', I'm guessing to deal with his anger issues.
EMC, Brocade, Network appliance, fairly well known tech companies. |
