xi front swaybar
I'd like to find a stiffer front swaybar for e46 x drive. Many of the aftermarket guys, like UUC, Turner, Eibach, H&R, don't offer one. Any suggestions?

No offense, are you sure you really need a stiffer front bar? Maybe you really need stiffer springs?
On my xi I have the H&R coilover kit and it is literally flat as a rail. I scare myself how fast I can enter corners with this car and it just holds tight with no understeer at all. I am running 225/45/17Goodyear F1 DS3 tires. Also, I am quite accustomed to fast driving and done more driver's schools than I can count in my E30 M3 and E36 M3. So just putting that out there so you can understand my above comments were not just heresay from a teenager, but actually fact based. What setup are you currently running? Thanks, Bimmer Dude xi. I should have searched before posting. It seems like Racing Dynamics is the only possibility, if they have any in stock.
To Mark M., I am stock, except for UUC rear sway. |

TBush....why wouldn't you change springs before going with a bigger bar? Anything you read on proper suspension setup tells you that the spring rates should be the primary way of balancing the car where as the sway bars are only a secondary tool.
The problem with a strong bar combined with weak springs is that you are forcing too much load through the bar which in turn is going to tear at the bar's mounting points and eventually wear out the bar's bushings, endlinks, or even rip free from the car's body. Further, a stiff bar only works to reduce the independence of your German suspension system. Just urging you to rethink your approach and perhaps first start with upgraded springs / shocks. What is it you are actually trying to achieve?
