Recaro SRD japanese made replica seats with sliders

Brand new never used Recaro SRD replica seats with sliders. I bought two pairs.. a pair for one of my cars and a pair for my friend's car. He didn't end up needing his pair.
These are VERY nice, japanese made replica SRD's that are just as nice as the origional SRD's which are not made anymore.
They have the gradiant recaro inserts and red stitching.
These sell on ebay for $850 shipped per pair.
Selling this set for $690 shipped anywhere in the continental US. Sliders included!

How they look in my car:

The sliders are universal, and included with the seats. The BRACKETS are what you would need to buy seperately, and they are CAR SPECIFIC.

24 lbs per seat plus a couple lbs for the slider, and then 5 lbs per base bracket. And yes, you would easily fit in them.

Please forgive the noob question.

Are these authentic Recaros that are a replica of this Japanese style seat? Or are they entirely replica? I'm a bit confused by the description.

Thanks

No need to appologize, they are a replica of the Recaro SRD, which isn't made anymore.
As for the other question, I've run harnesses in a daily, personally I don't mind it. Some people don't like it. I always do Schroth Autocontrols.. which are kind of like a stock seatbelt, they retract like the factory belt does, but it's still a 3 point harness. Perfect for the street. You don't have to run harnesses with these seats though, you can just bolt a BMW belt receptacle to the base bracket.

would it be possible to remove the center cushion (the grey piece with RECARO over and over) and cover it with suede or alcantara?
