Classic BMW Car Show planned New Jersey for June or July
Myself and another member of this forum are planning on organizing a BMW classic car show in New Jersey for either June or July 2010. I work at DeSimone BMW in Mt. Laurel, NJ. The dealership is very supportive of doing classic BMW cars shows and I'm sure they would be more than receptive to having a car show and giving out prizes for best in show and etc. What I'm trying to find out is how many of you in the DC, Maryland, Virgina, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Conneticutt area would be interested in attending? There is not a definite date picked out yet, because I'd like to see how many would like to attend first. There will be no entry fees or participation fees. The only expense is you coming to the show. If you are interested, please answer this thread with a response.

I will not have a definite date until the first week of December. I just want to give everyone heads up now so you can plan for it. There will be prizes for BMW's in all catagories, but the main focus of the show will be on all BMW's that are no longer in production. I will also arrange on this forum a pre-registration at least one-two months before the event, so you will not have to rush or think you can't enter before closing of the registration. The best part is that there will be absolutely no entry fees and plenty of entertainment. I have friends from Atlanta and the DC area that have already emailed me about coming.

The show will be centered around any BMW that is no longer in production, but there will be prizes in all catagories. The new cars are welcome too. I say again there will be no entry fees.

I'd be down. I've taken my car there for warranty work a few times and it's a good place. I'm in Haddon Township.

As soon as I get a final approval date I will let all of you immediately. I'm trying to get it for June instead of July. It will more than likely be on a Saturday. New Jersey state law prevents dealerships from operating on a Sunday.

The date is now set in stone. The DeSimone BMW Classic BMW Car Show will be on Saturday, June 19, 2010. We are planning for it to be an all day event. All BMW's that are no longer in production are welcome, no registration fees, and early registration will be available online within 60 days of the event. I will have a lot more information in the coming months, but I promise you it will be one you will not want to miss.
