Help - expansion tank and upper radiator hose don't fit
So I was planning to replace the expansion tank as a precautions maintenance. Before doing the job, I decided to check if the new tank and new radiator hose fit each other. I am glad I did so -- no matter how hard I push, the small branch of the hose could not seem to go far enough onto the tank nipple to make the clip lock.
I ordered both parts from Eeuroparts.com, has anyone else had similar problem? I just need to make sure that I was not doing anything wrong. |

Look at the slot on the small nipple that the clip snaps into. Check to make sure that it is formed correctly. When I replaced my upper hose and tank, I had to file the slot slightly to get the clip to fully snap into place.
