What's good about Eagles Eyes Tail light?
Most of the time people are looking for eagles eyes LED tail light. What's good about them compare to other LED light (LED sold on ebay is cheaper, look almost the same)?
Thanks. |

Because Eagle Eye tail lights are the only ones that fit properly, work properly, and don't give a bulb out warning.
Before buying my Eagle Eye and Depo lights, I bought a bunch of cheap ebay stuff. The tail lights didn't even fit and cracked upon installation. The corner markers had the foam seal around them come off. The side markers fit badly. A complete waste because I had to replace everything and the ebay vendor would not refund me even after sending the lights back. Since then, I've made a whole bunch of orders from www.jlevisw.com and have been happy with the products and customer support. ![]() Ideally I would get OEM, but in the case of LED tail lights, they were only made for coupes.

OEM is the best, but DEPO is a cost effective alternative.

And also Eagle Eyes are the only ones that actually look good.
And stop bashing on eBay, its a great place and your problem is the seller and not eBay. |

The Depo Euro Lights use regular bulbs, so no issues.

^ nice thread bump..
Eagle Eyes are OKAY. Not the best but ok. I'm on my second set within a year. LED started dying out of no where. Now, my new set is fine, but one light just pulses when it's very cold outside. Nothing that I can't live with.

Im runnin Depo euro's on my sedan, no leds.
I used to hate the RCR look so much, but for some reason its grown on me and I dont wanna get LED tails anymore. P.S. Why do a big group of ppl here say that LED's dont belong on a sedan? |

For a sedan.... nothing is good about EE IMO... sorry and no offense to anyone, but the LED's look "ok" compared to OEM, but the design of the lights make them look soooo tall, me no likey
RCR's are sooo sharp, i would rock those any day of the week if i had a sedan

I bought Depo Headlights and I gotta say the fit was perfect and the quality is great. I am very satisfied with them. Don't know anything about their tail-lights but based on the headlights I would think that Depo is the way to go.

That must be what it is, for the longest time I loved the C/R LED look for sedans until I saw more and more coupes with them.
I just wanted to know the reason behind the thought. I'll stick to my halogen bulbs |

I've had the EEs for a year and a half... so far so good. The included resistor packs keep the bulb-out light from coming on (although I occasionally get it for a minute when I first start the car in cold weather), and the fact that they have backlights that mesh with the interior of your trunk is nice, too (Apparently a lot of aftermarket tails use to just leave the LED circuit boards hanging out in the open). The EEs also seem much brighter than my stock tails.
I generally prefer the LED look (or at least the C/R look) over R/C/R on any e46... I often find the R/C/R to be kind of gross.

I got the EE LEDs only because that was my only way to get C/R tails. I wish they were not LED but unfortunately that isn't an option. I love the C/R because it follows the crease (or whatever you want to call it) down the side of the car. Makes everything flow better. Ive only had a bulb out light once and that was only for a second when I started the car up last summer. Of course, Ive had them for less than a year and I haven't driven my car since Thanksgiving. They really fit well though and so far a lot of the complaints on quality that I saw people had are non-existent with my lights (IE the backs breaking, ect.).

The LEDs went out quickly. Not reliable!
