Can someone chime in here, please.

Wife's 330 needs new cats and instead of replacing them I am going a bit custom route.
Got new headers as well as this cat (click) on the way. The new cat will go inplace of parallel pipes. Initially I was going to weld in two pre and two post cat bungs for O2 sensors. Then I remembered that with custom tune it is possible to change lambda configuration to one pre and post cat sensors.

Did anyone try this one pre one and post cat sensor? How did it work out? Any noticeable downsides?

This is a ms43 map porter, you can use it to automatically port a map from a SW version to another. I wrote it as time allowed so any feedback on coding is not welcomed but if it's broke ping me so I can fix it. Do a test with it, I made a few and it is looking ok.

Change the file format to .zip and unzip.

Good luck,
MihaiP

I changed that setting to 32 and it didn't change anything at all. It's still bouncing slow. Could my XDF file be messed up somehow?

this is a software conversion application.
for example converts a 66 version to 56.

Mihai i'd like to thank you and in public

The idea came when stefm5 was kind enough to send me a tune for a setup that I have on my car, there were too many params to change by hand and we came up with this "thing". There is a readme inside the package probably we will update it later. Anyhow, main script has a small bug that will be fixed. Yes Sroor901, it outputs a map that can be plugged directly in the ecu. That was the idea.

Evening (well here in the UK it is)

*update* I'm getting mixed up between the 64kb files and 512 kb, which is why it's not working!

I've read through the instructions for installing tunerpro etc, I've downloaded the ms430056 virgin bin file and I am using the correct xdf file.
But for some reason when I go to software version it's coming up with a load of odd characters?

I haven't yet flashed the virgin bin file onto the dme yet, would that be the problem?

I'm also getting the error of "the program can't start because MSVCR120.DLL is missing" I've downloaded the correct Microsoft software but it's still displaying the fault. However the program starts?!

edit xdf header info by changing offset from 0000 to 70000, or use a 64k bin file

Can anyone tell me why in TunerPro I see "255" everywhere, as in the attachment?

Hi Folks,

Greetings from Germany.
I've just a new Question to the ForcedInduction Guys.

The Ignition and Injection Tables are loadased in the x-angle. In my case m54b30 the max load is 700mg/stroke... does it make Sense to expand these Values in a FI Environment??? Like 900mg/stroke for example...???

When i try to checksum it through ultimo, it turns it in to a regular file not a .bin. Jmgarage flasher only lets you flash a .bin file. What do i do?

Not shure what a regular file is, but changing the file format of your file by hand shouldnt be that hard?
