Finally i changed the exhaust camshaft sensor, and at last i have the car running without any dtc erros on the computer.

The p0340 as gone, and it seems the car is running better at low rpm's

Next task, big clean up to the interior and clean also the soft top and make it water repellent like this:

From my experience don't believe in that.

It's not gonna pass...

Mainly because of the size, small stuff are randomly chosen, big stuff are all checked.

Não é para ser pessimista, mas conheço a realidade.

So last night i was taking the car to my mechanic to get the headers installed, and the coolant light turned on, i stop immediately and saw that the Coolant expansion tank had a crack from the bottom to the top

I hope this is because the car is 15 years old and not because of some high pressure inside the cooling system...

The sound is awesome, in low rpm's and cruising, its almost stock, after 3750rpm's its incredible!!!

by the way, no signs of any engine light on the dashboard heheheheh

The car is revving in a easier way and i think its faster from 140klm/h to 190 klm/h, that's where i notice the major difference

Looks great, sounds good. Do you still have the stock muffler in that video?

These coolant tanks are prone to cracking, it was happening when these cars were under warranty. It has to do with hot/cold cycles and age.

thanks, the sound is great!!!

I think this car has a different exhaust then the ones sold in US and Canada, let me explain:

Original:
engine -> original headers (2 pré-catalytics) -> catalytic -> resonator -> final muffler

Now:
Engine -> ebay headers -> catalytic -> deleted -> final muffler

So the only thing i did was, took off the mid resonator and the original headers with the 2 pré-catalytics...

And its awesome, now i will move to the next modification, fit the intake manifold from a M54 325ci, and a remap!!!

So, after a trip over 800klm, the car is running very well, great exhaust sound over the 4000rpm

The engine light came on once, i just turned it of with a ELM327 bluetooth adapter and my android phone with the app, TORQUE, didn't show up again, it was a co2 sensor error...

heres a few photos, again, nothing special...

2 photos of my old car with a GREAT SUPER OLD CAR!!!

Which seller did you buy the ebay header from? Did it fit well or did you have to make modifications?

Nice clean ride!

Hi there,

Thanks

I bought the headers from this buyer:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2316047339...391ffee1e&cp=1

The headers were almost 100% plug and play, only the o2 sensors entry had to be relocated, because it hit the chassis, but nothing from the other world, and its wort it, the sound is amazing
