Hey everyone,
I have a 01 325i that i recently bought wheels for.
Every little dip in the road i hit the rear wheels scrape the fenders.
What im looking for opinions on is what would be the best way to stiffen up the rear end to prevent the scraping.
Would i be better off going with a race type spring setup or a coilover setup.
i am not looking at tucking the wheels inside or looking at lowering the back anymore. i am pretty much just trying to keep it the same height but make the suspension alittle tighter in the rear so when i hit a bump theres less movement
Maybe stiffer shocks and a stiff rear shock mount? Or some coil overs could help if they are raised up to about factory height. U def need to roll the fenders and maybe put about a half degree of camber into it first tho and that may help enough
i ended up going with what bean562 recommended. works well and dont really feel a difference with suspension.
steifan- im not sure of the ET but wheel width is 18x8.5 all around.. their bbs rs-gt wheels. you might be able to look them up for more info on them
