Hi guys,
When I bought the car, the PO had some Bilstein HD shocks (P/N BE3-2697) that he purchased but not yet installed. He gave those to me with the car as the rears are pretty well shot.
Looking up these shocks it looks like HD's were designed with dampening for the non-sport Sedans, with a separate "sport" shock for sport springs (P/N BE3-2698). Additionally, there's a separate part number for the OEM ZHP shocks which appear to be bmw performance package shocks, so one step further (P/N 33522282461). Bilstein doesn't have a replacement for these I see.
What should I expect using these shocks on ZHP springs? Not enough dampening power? Quickly worn out shocks?
Should I sell these and get OEM ones?
