***Don Nguyen | Smoked / Tinted Lights Vinyl Wrap Picture Thread***

Old thread: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...954&highlight=

In all of these pictures that I'll be posting of the tail lights that I have tinted / smoked, they all the exact same shade of tint. On some cars, the vinyl film may appear slightly darker or lighter, but that can be partially due to the lighting and/or the color of the car can actually make the shade appear different as well.

The shade that I use is fairly light, so the light output from either the tail or head lights is still fairly bright. Most people usually only tint their tail lights, but since I have switched over to this lighter shade, more cars have started getting their head lights tinted as well.

The tint film provides protection from rocks and also seals the lights in to help prevent it from oxidizing or getting damaged from the sun's UV rays. It's a win win situation for those who are looking to protect and also change up the look of their lights or car.

Overview:
- Gloss black vinyl wrap roof
- Gloss black window trim vinyl wrap
- Smoked / tinted tail lights

This is an old/previous customer of mine that came from outside the state of California to have the vinyl work done on his car. For his car, I vinyl wrapped the roof in gloss black, blacked out the chrome window trim and also lightly tinted / smoked his tail lights. Each item was a small change to the car, but changed the overall look of the car quite dramatically. I really liked the way the smoked / tinted tail lights on his car went with the color of the car. The two complimented each other fairly well.

Overview:
- Tinted / smoked tail lights

The owner of this black GLC 43 AMG brought his car by to have me lightly tint / smoke the rear tail lights on his car. The owner of this car is a returning customer who also had me lightly tint the tails on his other car. I took pictures of the progress outside, so you guys can see the subtle changes of the tint vinyl wrap that I use. The finish gives the tail lights a nice cherry finish, while still maintaining good light output from the lights and also keeping in line with a very factory / OEM+ type look. The owner of this car was from Pasadena Los Angeles and drove out to me in Anaheim Hills / Orange County to get the vinyl work done.
