I would like to get sedan sport seats. Only because they don't have the lever to bring the seat forward like how coupes do

The other issue with the M3 seats is the leather won't match as M3's got Nappa while we got Montana IIRC.

Only reason I ask is because I thought all sport seats had thigh supports

Yea thigh supports and thicker bolstering. The lever I was referring to is so people in the back seat can get out. I want sedan seats so those levers wouldn't be there in my car

You should consider Z4 Mcoupe seats as they have no lever, they bolt in once you add the seat belt fixing point on the rail like the sedans have, had a set in my E46 touring before I moved them to my E36.

I know the struggle of the sport seats :/ Great update! Let us know how your automatic feels about the fan swap when you're on the power for a while

The fan swap has been great so far! Nothing beats peace of mind. It fits perfect, hooks up perfect, and allows for substantial ease in working on the car. I have been pretty pleased with it thus far

Tried to tackle the power steering system to fix a noise but was unsuccessful because one of the bolts holding the pump to the block was missing a head. So I had to take it to my mechanic. Luckily for me, he replaced the oil filter housing gasket, upper and lower intake boots, replaced my power steering pump + lines, and fixed a coolant leak. The best part of all that is he charged me only $250 for all that! I also replaced my FSR for good measure. Looks like it was already replaced in 2009 or 2010. Also bought a sun shade to keep the cabin cool. Best $50 I spent. The steering is so much lighter and smoother now

be careful with that sunshade. the stitching on mine started to get torn up after just one summer of usage. luckily I bought it from the dealer so it's under warranty.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm pretty easy on handling things so they last

Lookin very clean. I've been thinking about getting that same sunshade as my star wars one is falling apart.

Yeah I would suggest it. It's very thick and stands up as opposed to those flimsy plastic-foil ones.

In other news I'm looking at buying another E46

Damn! Pic quality definitely going up! Nice work! Your interior looks so close to my first interior pic in my build thread. What are you editing with?

Absolutely stunning. Can you detail and shoot my car as well?

Also appreciate the fact that you aligned the wheel roundels with the ///M logo.

What's with the random general guy amid the car pic?

Looks awesome! After I asked I figured it was Lightroom, saw some cross processing in there (or maybe blue curves?) what camera do you have? I do photography professionally. You have my number, feel free to text me for camera advice on a budget

I think my power steering pump may be on it's way out as well. Getting a groaning at low speed parking maneuvers that never used to be there. Luckily I have a hookup and can get the LUK pump for 200. Then the lines, pulley, and reservoir too...
