It took me a while, but I finally got around to taking some decent shots of my girl. I purchased this car bone-stock in March 2011: flew into Newark from Detroit and drove her straight home without issue. The car is in fantastic shape, thanks to the meticulous nature of the previous owner and his aversion to snow, and I plan on putting her away from Dec. 1 until next spring.

As you can see, the mods aren't anything crazy. I think the e46 body style looks fantastic as is, so I kept a nice OEM + look. I have always loved classic Alpina styling, and was lucky enough to find an authentic lip at a reasonable price. I think it adds some character and is more unique to the model than an M-Tech II or M3 front bumper.

Good to see this bumped, good timing considering I just pulled her out from storage! Thanks for the kind words all... I've got a few more things in the works, got my H&R cup kit ready to go on, along with new front and rear shock/strut mounts, OEM shadow line trim, and perhaps an OEM M3 rear spoiler

The silver part you mean? Yeah, I'm sure it could use a good wax - too lazy to really get in there most of the time. I'm not sure what you mean on the reverse lights the corners/rears are all OEM clears. And thanks man, I try to keep it spotless inside (obnoxiously so, if you ask my girlfriend)

It's beautiful. Not over-complicated, but the little details lend character.
Good photo work too, especially good shadows and highlights on the side interior pic.
You ever think of selling her, my number should be on your list.
Cheers! No plans any time soon, but who knows...

Did you replace, plasti-dip, or just paint the chrome window trim? It seems appropriate to go all chrome or none at all.
I presume you just picked up a blackout grill and replaced the chrome one?
The front grill is from Khoalty, and I did the chrome window trims with shadow line vinyl. I've got an OEM M3 shadow line set waiting to go on though :woot:

Quick question;

Your corner lights, they are plain white. Now I am not sure if they have these for a pre-facelift version, but I would think clear corners with a black trim around would look a ton better with your front end and complete the headlights better.

Do they have such a trim for the pre-facelift? Because that is the clears I have on my 02 facelift and I just find it blends in better with the entire headlights.
