Hey guys I decided to keep my e46 and finally finish it to my taste. I would like to upgrade my stereo next and I was wondering when the 6th group buy would be for the eonon D5150 head unit.
And thanks for the install video Carlos! Now with the version that will be shipped, did yall correct the blue wire issue? I recall that people had to cut, swap, and splice one of the blue wires on the power harness with the amp wire
I would love to join GB, but first, I have few questions
1) Dos GM5150 have backup camera support and can i buy camera for BMW E46 ?
2) Dos GM5150 navigation have country of Latvia map in it ?
3) What is your shipping company to Eastern Europe ? Is it EMS on UPS ? Because, if its another company, then I will have BIG customs payments !
1. Yes you can add a backup camera, it just wires into the headunit (I plan on adding one in myself, and there are plenty of DIY guides on this forum and on youtube)
2. Yes, if you buy the euro map pack from eonon's website when you order
Hi spudorange, what BM330 answered is totally right, this group buy is for both GM5150 & D5150. Our repair center is in Hong Kong, if you return the unit and we send again, we will mark your unit as “returned for repair”, usually there’s no tax. If unluckily charged, it won’t be too much.
Would you like to order the GM5150 or D5150? Thanks!
Is there any video or detailed instruction for installing the GM5150 specifically?
Does the kit come with all necessary adaptors? Are there any additional adaptors I would need to consider buying ... ie. Antenna,..?
I am completely inexperienced with any auto DIY. Before disconnecting the OEM unit, is there anything else I need to be aware of? ie. Do we have to disconnect the car battery first or disable any security?
Currently I have OEM Bluetooth, OEM Cd & Radio with CD stacker in boot in my RHD 2004 BMW 325i Sport. Are there any other components I would need to adjust or add to make the GM5150 work?

The following is a very long thread but will answer your questions: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=990340

however a short answer is
you have similar to what I have (17 pin) with oem satnav in boot so you need extra stuff.
It seems that the right angled iphone plugs sort out the previous problem with the unit not sitting properly
The blue wire radio business is now also sorted I understand.
Others more experienced on here will advise I am sure

I'm interested in the D5150 but when would I need to let Eonon know for sure to be a part of this? Also would I need anything extra if I don't have factory navigation?
