Cheap but good summer tires?

I've almost murdered my set from last year. I will probably go get a mileage warranty. In 15k I'd say I'm down to about 2/32 on the pair that were up front last. maybe 4/32 on the rears.

Meanwhile, just pondering if there's a set of tires that are inexpensive and last maybe 20k with good grip. I have no problem with buying a new set each year if I can keep the cost down. I murder tires driving canyons.

Sailun Artezzo ZSR if you want a strictly summer tire.
I'm currently running the Z4+AS all-seasons, and they're as good as my old Continental ExtremeContact DWS'

Cost me under $400 CAD for a set of 235/40/18.
So thats.. roughly $300 USD.

you gotta pay to play.
if you want good handling, expect to pay for good tires.

if you want cheap tires, then lower your grip expections

Hankook Ventus V12s are the least expensive tires i'd put on a vehicle. Pretty good performance and reliability for the price

Check out the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500. Excellent budget tire.

I'll chime in on the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500.

Aprox. 4,000 miles driven so far.

Car/Suspension
330i ZSP
H&R Cup Kit
Poly FCAB
17x9 ET30 Arc 8 square
245/40

Lots of grip. Front end grip just bites and it wants to keep on turning in
Steering input is great
Road noise very very minimal
Wearing non existent so far (-2 to -2.2 of camber)
In the rain these are amazing
Cost....great tire for the money
Looks wise these just look mean, nice curved sidewall.
