Smile Fuel Issues or Autobox?

Hi there,

Since purchasing my E46 I have become not too happy about its power delivery! Starting the car it is fine as I purchased a new battery as a precaution but when pulling off it again is ok up to about 3000 RPM.

At this point the car it is a little reluctant to go above 3000 RPM but will kick down and then speeds up!
Having read the Threads on here suggestions lead to possibly replacing the Fuel Pump, filter, relay….

Does this sound like something these of items would help with?

The smoothness of the power delivery is not as good as my E39 Sport, just wanna see if I can rule out any gearbox issues!

you could change filter might help, allso have a look at the hoses that go from maf to engine as these can
split and suck in air.
