Swapping door shells... HELP!

Hi everyone, I've been working on rebuilding my e46 sedan slowly over the past few months after an accident and although I'm through the worst of it, now it's come for me to do something about my passenger rear door. At first, I had just used a heat gun and tried to suction it out. It looks better, but still all banged up. Eventually, I picked up a door shell from a junk yard, just the plain shell. No window, lock mechanism, nothing.

Well, I'm pretty car savvy, but rather new to BMW's and the window concerns me. How would I go about transferring the window from the old door to the new? Is it as simple as removing the regulator, installing it in the new door, then placing the window with the regulator again? If anybody who sees this has done this before, ANY help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Need to remove the glass first, then remove regulator.

Install regulator in new door, then install the window glass.
