Sport suspension difference btw 325xi and 325xi Touring?

Hey guys. I have seen some talk about the differences between the sport package in the Tourings vs the Sedans and Coupes.

I have a line on a '02 325Xi Touring with a Manual and Sport Package and Premium Package that is for sale, however, I will have to travel to pick it up. Before I make the trip, I wanted to make sure that I have a good feel for what the car will be like. So I arranged to drive a 325Xi sedan with sport package in my home town, and was happy with the ride and handling.

My main concern is how closely the Touring will ride/handle when compared to the 325Xi Sedan that I drove, both of them having the sport package.

Any opinions? Thanks

I'm also curious. I have a 330xi 5 spd, but really want a touring.
Did you ever pursue the one you found?

Just to be clear - the Xi sport package has the same suspension as Xi non-sport models.

I did buy it. I think I read somewhere that the tourings did not get the suspension changes in their sport packages like the sedans and coupes did because they were already different to compensate for the extra weight and load capabilities of the wagons.

I can definitely say that the suspension is different in my touring than the sedans that I test drive, so I think I was right.

I have a xi touring 5 spd wagon/ sport yadda yadda.. its the exact same other then rear coil spring rate of the sport sedan, handles the same as the sedan except for a little more weight in the rear.. feels slightly ass heavy in a drift. If you buy suspension parts make sure its for the sport model sedan / wagon. Welcome to the wagon community
