Unfortunately I am parting ways with my E46 wagon. I recently a purchased another 300ZX and I don't need 6 cars in the driveway.

The car has been well maintained most of its life. I bought it at 145k miles. I have about 2 hours of commuting everyday on the highway so I put the miles on fast. The PO had replaced the cooling system, all 4 window regulators, VANOS seals, and lots of misc. bits. The car would not pass emissions when I bought it. So I replaced MAF, both intake tubes, and spark plugs. It has passed emissions ever since. I have a Peake Research code reader, and the only code it pulls right now is the 0.5 capillary leak detected which does not throw a CEL. So no warning lights are on, on the dash. I have also replaced the front brakes and the tires only have about 20,000 miles on them.


I couldn't justify spending double the asking price for a car just because it has a stick. It did not have records of a fluid change when I bought the car, so I changed the fluid first thing. The car shifts fine, and the fluid was in good shape and there were nothing suspect in the pan of the transmission.

A/C Blows Cold

But the in-cabin air temp sensor goes in and out, so you have to trick the system into working in auto. I have blown the sensor off and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I'm trying to get it fixed before some one is serious about purchasing the car.


Headliner has started to droop in the cargo compartment, but it has upholstery pins in it holding it up. So it doesn't droop but you can see the pins.

That's really the only things wrong with the car.

The car has the normal wear and tear of a highway car.
A few rock chips and scratches here and there. No major damage. One little door ding on the driver's side and a dent under the emblem on the hood. Rims have a few scuff marks from the PO.

Interior is in good shape, however the PO must have used a cleaner that wasn't compatible with the color of the door panels. There are yellow streaks in some of the panels where the dye was pulled out. The car has a full set of weathertech floor mats and the windows were tinted when I bought the vehicle. There also are a few cracks in the plastic in the cargo area. Nothing too noticeable however. I added the cubby and dual 12v outlets between the back and front seats. OEM components. The car also has an aftermarket radio with Bluetooth phone support.

I honestly do not want to get rid of the car, but I have a full driveway and I need the money to do a few things to the 300ZX you see in the pictures below.
