E46 Sedan CSL Reps Advice

Hey Everyone,

I know there is a thread already about this topic but I haven't seen any new posts and I hope I can get some help or advice for my future purchase.

So I am looking into purchasing VMR V703 from Mod Bargains this upcoming March. I am new into Wheel purchasing and I am having troubles deciding on the wheel offset for a Sedan. I am going for a Staggered set up (18x 8.5/9.5). I am debating in getting ET40 in the front and ET45 on the rear but everywhere I search ET35 pops up the most.

This is my car

Everything is pretty much stock but I am planning on adding AC Schnitzer springs in the near future.

If you guys have any suggestions, please comment bellow.

I would love to see everyone's wheel & tire set up

Thanks for the Help!

I have a wagon - same rear fenders as a sedan. I had to roll fenders to fit 255 tires with ET45 after I lowered the car. You can check my signature for pictures.

I would not go to ET35. It's doable with narrower tires and rolled fenders but you would also need spacers for the front to make it look uniform.

I have a sedan, and am running 255 rears on 19x8.5 ET47 in the rear. 19x8 E36 with 255 on the front.

Oh wow it looks sick! I was also thinking about doing spacers to just adjust my liking on the ET40. Thanks for the help.!

Have you had any problems the 19inch? I've read alot about the difference between the 18s and 19s.

It honestly wasn't my first preference. I got severe punctures on my wheels, and needed a new set ASAP, so I was lucky and picked up a set with near new tyres.

I haven't had any problems per se. These are F30 fitment wheels and tyres from the factory, so my rolling diameter is a little bit larger, to the point that the speedometer is now dead accurate lol, instead of reading 5(?)% more than it should.

No rubbing issues even with a full car loading up in corners.

My Ride: E46 Sedan
Sorry if I'm threadjacking, however I'm in a similar situation.

E46 Sedan - Looking to add CSL Reps:
- 18" x 8.5" square setup
- ET35 Offset
- 235/40/18 all around.

I am lowered on BC Coils to approximate height of a standard Sport Suspension.
Will I have any issues?
