Thumbs Up 2000 - Parting out or complete sale - No accidents - Silver

~120k miles, not sure of the exact count - I'll update in the morning.

Never been in an accident. Excellent body. Runs well.

The leather is in very good condition, no rips, no deep cracking.

I've had my 2000 323it sitting in my driveway for over a year now. It has an issue w/ the transmission. When left in auto, the gear symbol shows up on the dash, and I believe it gets dropped in 4th.

If I use tiptronic and start in 2nd gear, gears 2-5 are fine, and once I'm up to speed, I can leave it in full auto w/o issue. It's really just first gear.

The engine was rebuilt a few years ago.

Rims appear fine, thou the rear right wheel looses air when it's cold out. Not sure if it's a warped rim rim or old rubber.

It's dark out now, but I'll post pictures if there is any interest.

I'm also interested in selling the entire car, I'm just not sure what a fair price is given the age, miles and transmission issue.

I would say in the condition you described its worth no more that 2500-3k(probably less). If you were to part it out it would be a long time before you would see that money but you would eventually make more money. Just my 2 cents.

Greetings! I just purchased a 2000 323it, same color, though with the manual trans, and would be interested in some interior parts, specifically in the cargo area, if you decide to part the car. Some pieces went missing when a PO installed some sort of stereo that is no longer there, just the evidence of. Thanks, and let me know if you decide to part and I can provide you with a list of what I'm looking for. Nothing I need would make the car any less drive-able than it currently is, but may cause a potential buyer of the entire thing to be a little less enthused.

I agree with you about the worth of the car as a whole. My thoughts were the engine might be worth that alone as it's rebuilt. The car runs well and looks good. I was just thinking if i part out the doors/engine/exhaust/whatever else, I might be able to make more of my investment back then giving it to some dealer as a 1k trade in.
