FSOT: 323/328 pre-facelift hood silver

I bought a pre-facelift hood that was on a car getting parted out in hope of replacing my grandmother's banged up hood, but as soon as I put it on i realized it was for the 323s and 328s and not quite compatible with her 330ci. The hood has like new emblem and kidney gills. has a few scratches, only two that are rough others to can be buffed out. comes with the tube plugged in for windshield washer fluid. Its the standard BMW titanium silver like mine(e36) if anyone has the opposite and would like to trade thats cool too. Local pick up in Myrtle Beach, SC.

New member on here so I don't have anything to show for proof but I have an ebay account if you want it. text me at 843-251-4794

How did it not fit? I thought e46 hoods were all the same except for the m3 being slightly more visually stunning. Sorry BMW newbie here...

Actually Im fairly new here also! I only realized after having it in the shed and trying it on that 323i/328i fit differently and have different stickers on the underneath of the hood. right inside the grill. The grill where the windhsild washer fluid sprays from is also metal on the 330 i have(2001) and plastic on the spare that doesn't fit... and yes m3's are sexy
