Manual conversion e46 330ci Drive shaft to diff problem

So im doing a manual conversion on my e46 330ci. everything is up and in except the drive shaft. I went and pulled a manual drive shaft from the junkyard in hopes i could use the rear of the auto shaft and the front of the manual shaft as many others have done. but the problem i encountered was that the rear of the auto shaft was a male end and the front of my manual shaft was male as well. After seeing that i tried to just pop in the complete manual shaft but the input flange on the differential has 6 bolt holes and the shaft only has 4... I really dont want to fork out 700$ on a new shaft. I was thinking of swapping the U joints of the auto and manual shafts so that it will fit but im not too sure if BMW u joints are even replaceable. Another idea i had would be to swap a manual diff flange onto my auto but im not entirely sure if it will work.. any help or input would be nice. TYIA

Try a driveshaft repair service. I'm sure there's one in your part of western NY.
