1 inch shorter on drivers side compared to driver's side? Spring problem?

The front driver's side is an entire inch shorter than the passenger's side (1.5" on driver's, 2.5 on passenger's)

It is so low on the driver's side that it is pushing my bumper out of place when I make acute turns or when I hit a batch. I am guessing it is the springs, so I'll be switching them for some aftermarket ones soon. Do you agree with me in believing that the issue is the spring?

Pictures are attached below

BTW let me know if you have trouble with your convertible top, I have experience replacing the tops and fixing them, so I could help you out!

And ignore rims, They'll be nice and sanded + chromed soon!

How much do you weigh? Seriously, it looks like springs.

130lb haha and yeah I'm going to get em replaced as soon as I can fully confirm it's the springs. Took my car to a mechanic, he eyeballed my springs and said they were fine so I just wanna make sure that he was wrong and that I should get a new mechanic lol. Springs are expensive af haha

Ask your mechanic what determines the ride height, other than springs.

The strut, which includes the spring, is the vertical (for the most part) support for the front suspension. Either driver side spring is weakened, or it's broken, or someone put non-matching springs one the struts. I can't think of anything else that would cause this. Others may chime in with other possibilities.

Recheck your installation. Your springs could be turned on installation.

Turned on installation? I am sorry I do not understand what that means. But these are the stock springs, never been touched.

Oh and btw I thought struts didn't affect vertical height. Especially that they could not cause an inch difference

Check out lowering kits, see what they include.

OK, what is the spacing in the rear?

Have the struts ever been out of the car?

In the back, there is about 1/2" gap between the wheel and the back fender. Or 1" between the tire mark and the fender

Also, the struts have never been off the car. Can the replacing the struts really lift my car an entire inch?

pic of rear arch of my car attached below
