Stranded e46: Lean & Misfire Codes, rough idle --> no start

Hey all,
In dire need of help likely someone out there must've experienced a similar problem as this one here:

2001 - 330i @ 206,000 mi.
Use: daily driver

Timeline from beginning:
Car wont start after fill up @ Gas station to 1/3 Tank. Jumped car, it started. Drove 2mi when dash lights malfunction irratically with low engine power on acceleration. Stop at red light and engine goes to sleep. Car towed home.

Codes Present:
P0171 - System too lean (Bank 1)
P0174 - System too lean (Bank 2)

P0313 - misfire detected w/ low fuel
P1349 - misfire CYL. 4 w/fuel cut-off
P1350 - misfire during start CYL. 5

P1190 - Pre Catalyst Fuel Trim System (Bank 1)
P1192 - Post Catalyst Fuel a Trim System (Bank 1)

(Before I knew DISA flap broke off into intake, but bear with me)
AAA inspects and test battery and alternator, said to go and drive the car around the block after jumping it saying alternator was OK (worst advice) ...drove it for a mile (5-8mins) or so, Car had low power, sounded like a drag racer, risky to drive, unsafe, luckily parked it back on the driveway.

1st DIY's completed:
Replaced Battery
Replaced Alternator

Intake Manifold Removed &
Replaced DISA (flap flew off into intake)
Replaced Intake Boots
Replaced Intake Manifold Gasket
Replaced Throttle Body Gasket
Replaced Oil Filter Housing Gasket
Torqued all nuts & bolts to respective values

Checked Resistance on fuel injectors, ohms equal on 6
Checked replaced Vacuum Hoses back of Intake Manifold
Checked CCV- no cracks in hoses, no 'yellow mayo'

1st Result: Car starts, very rough idle (car shakes), inconsistent rpms at idle, SES light blinking, turned car off out of fear of condition. Similar condition to time car was jump started prior to 1st DIY. Did not drive the car after repairs since car was shaking and SES light blinking.

2nd DIY's completed: 5/19/16
Replaced Fuel Filter (with pressure regulator) + Broken vacuum line
Replaced MAF Sensor & Gasket
Replaced Spark Plugs with NGK bkr6equp
Checked Ignition Coil Resistance all 6 ~0.8 ohms
Checked Spark Plug boots look good
New Air Filter

My Fuel Filter process: removed/checked fuse#54, Pulled Old fuel filter off, replaced broken vacuum line, replaced new fuel line and clips.

* trunk-end fuel lines when pulled from old filter did not expel any gasoline when removed? *

The new filter is properly seated.

2nd Result: Upon attempting to start, car squeals, will Not start, fuel is in the Rail (checked this from Schraeder valve), sounds like faulty fuel pump but it was replaced 40k ago.

misc repairs recent:
Exhaust Camshaft Position Sensor was replaced on Jan. 2013 @ 165,500 mi.
Fuel Pump Assembly was replaced 40k ago on Jan. 2013 @ 165,500 mi.
Valve Cover Gasket was replaced 20k ago ~ May 2015 @ 188,000

My next move(s):
inspect fuel pump voltage
fuel pump relay
refurbish fuel injectors

Next, next move(s) :
Replace (2) pre-cat o2 sensors,
replace (2) post-cat o2 sensors, ($$)
reflash ECU ( can't drive anywhere)
Check cylinder compression (dunno how)
Check fuel pressure (dunno how)

?
Car has been inoperable for 2 months.

Was the camshaft position sensor replaced with an OEM? Same with fuel pump -- 40K doesn't seem like a lot, but if the quality was questionable, well...

My car would not always start once the CPS started to die, high revs would shut down the engine (more like do a fuel-cutoff and severely drop the RPMs), and it had loss of power and weird idles (sometimes dying at a stop), but it didn't throw a code until the day before I took it to my mechanic's (after which it was easy to diagnose/fix).

If you're getting SES lights, what's the error?

Intake camshaft sensor? Sounds like either it or exhaust sensor is bad.... stumbling idle and no power is the symptom....

Would love to see how this ends up for you. I have a 2000 323i that runs well but just doesn't have the power it used to so I'm interested in seeing how others resolve similar issues. Will post once I start working on it.

thanks for replies, I'm going to test the relay and voltage on pump today. Considered intake camshaft position sensor, but car not giving codes for it?
Does anyone know what it means if ? the two fuel lines from rear end of old fuel filter didn't spill ANY gas when pulled off? There is still fuel in the rail. And I removed fuse 54 prior to working.

Measured ~11.5 volts at harness connector to fuel pump. After 2-3 seconds, voltage drops down to 0.

How could you know if it is the * fuel pump and not: 1) sucking jet pump 2) left fuel level sender ?

You did all that work for the symptoms of fuel pump failure? should have done the pump first even if a second hand one off fleabay. Either way those fixes should help with p0174 and p0171 codes.

Basically your fuel pump is likely gone...!!!!

Pretty sure the fuel pump isn't the problem here . . . The car started after the first set of repairs, only cranks now after replacing the fuel filter and the MAF and won't start. Don't think it's the fuel pump though.

Yea a dodgy fuel pump might start once or twice after almost completely failing. When you say "the car started" after first set of repaira ldid it idle for at least a minute or 2? Or start and die some seconds later.

car shook horribly after starting up after first repairs, SES light started blinking so shut the car off after a minute and a half of severe rough idle. . .

My next diagnostic step will be to : remove spark plugs and add a few drops of oil into each cylinder. Any thoughts? I'll get back on this. . .

Looks like post-cat o2 sensors have never been changed at 206k miles ... What is the chance I'm now faced with a clogged catalytic converter or burnt exhaust valve?
