Bad Control Arms

Hey fanatics! So i noticed when changing my breaks that my driver side control arm is able to jiggle when the right side cannot. I am going to replace but was curious on What brands are good for control arms , Does the brand really matter and Do i have to replace in pairs or can i just replace the bad control arm? Thanks in advance !

Yes brand matters. Stay away from the basement-bargain made-in-china specials and you'll be ok.
