Rattling

Ever since I bought this car over a year ago, it has had a slight ticking/clicking sound that only happens when the car is returning to idle (if I rev it up it starts clicking as the rpms fall). I was able to hear the sound much more when I was next to curbs or walls and let off the gas since it would echo. It has always been annoying, but lately it has gotten ridiculous. Sometimes at idle it will start to tick pretty loud until I hit the gas then come back once it returns to idle. I peeked under the car and it seems to be coming right from under the front seats. It doesn't sound much like a vanos, and I don't have loss of power. It looks like the front most resonator is right at the sound so could it be a loose exhaust or leak? Any advice is appreciated.

Worn bearings in the clutch, catalyst materials in the resonator. Check the exhaust mount on the trans, and the bolts holding the exhaust to the manifold.
