Well at least its a good start.

I did change the oring with an OEM part from www.oembimmerparts.com/

fuel filter was changed about 13k miles ago.

I have not changed the fuel pump, what to do to inspect it or verify if its an original part ?

I smoked tested the vehicle 3 times, no leaks from intake boot, CCV or components.

luckily tomorrow i am off, I will take another look and try to get a better evaluation.

I am unaware if oembimmerparts offers the proper O-ring for the 325/330 engine.

If the O-ring was green it was probably not the correct O-ring.

BMW does not offer a replacement DISA O-ring for the 325/330 engines, the 323/328 engines did have a serviceable DISA O-ring.

The 323/328 O-ring is 1/8" thick, which is too thick for the 325/330 DISA. The O-ring for the 325/330 is 3/32" thick and is not a standard part as this O-ring replacement is a hack or modification.

So you might want to double check what you have or post a link for the part you purchased.

You really need to monitor the Fuel Trims as this will give you a better idea about what is going on with the engine in this car.

So I've had the similar issues. Replaced DISA, valve cover gasket, inspected boots etc. Tonight I was cleaning the ICV and put it all back together and bam, idled perfectly.
Decided to take it for a drive and it was choking out when u gave it gas so I pulled back in and inspected it all again and found I didn't reconnect the small boot to the ICV, so I put it on and bam, back to idling like crap. Any suggestions?
