My Ride: Topaz Blue '03 330Ci
Sub $16K E46 M3 6MT (Possibly Trade E36 M3/4/5)

Somewhat in the market for a E46 M3 6MT that is:
$16K or below
Prefer to not be super high in mileage (I know asking price is somewhat low, but..)
Preferably good condition black interior, but would accept others if clean
In love with Topaz Blue, but would pretty much take any color as long as well kept
Maintenance records pls and ty
Subframe is in good condition/reinforced
Tasteful mods if modded
Preferably clean title too

All around just looking for a good enthusiast owned car that won't give me grief.

If you'd like I could probably throw in my '97 Estoril/Mulberry M3/4/5 (not working currently, due to money shift)
Located in Tulsa, Oklahoma but willing to go anywhere nationwide, just would need to arrange things.
Trying to get passed my E36 M3 leaving such a sour taste in my mouth from all the problems due to a decently poor life with shitty owners, except for me... Parent's said they'd help me get a car that isn't in need of so much work so I'm taking their offer up.

My Ride: 2001 M3 Convertible
Convertible in GA

I'll be putting up FS soon enough but FYI in GA:

2001 E46 M3 convertible. 6 speed manual. Black on black in and out (matte black grills and wheels, black leather seats). Gorgeous and runs /handles like a DREAM. 136K miles. Asking $12,000.

2 pics are from before the black grills and wheels but paint, top, etc. is same.

All scheduled maintenance done. Owned since 2009 or 2010. Have records. Maintained top notch by BMW specialists (not dealership; better). New, factory quality paint across 85% of it ~4 years ago. A few small chips or hairline scratch (could be just in clearcoat). Likely won't even see in up close pics. New convertible top ~3 years ago. Pristine condition in and out other than the leather on driver seat which is worn in places and coming stitched in others. The leather cut is too tight to sew back so $500 to fix by putting new black leather over the seams or ~$1k to replace.

Custom mods:
Beyern Spartan 19" matte black wheels ($1500)
Matte black front and side grills
Top notch, premium, after market sound (Bavarian Soundworks stage 1 upgrade plus sub-woofer); DICE Silverline audio adapter for any smartphone / player with headphone jack
Remus exhaust (growly)
K&N cold air intake

A few interior or exterior parts that were worn from being older, I replaced (center console frame, rear ashtray, etc). Replaced all ignition coils <1 year ago.

Minor issues, many of which I may fix before putting up formal sale (and raise price):
-passenger side drain plug/tube under where convertible top is stored when down is clogged. Just needs to be cleared out which is labor or removing the top frame, clearing, putting back.
-volume knob on radio inconsistent. So I just always use the one on the steering wheel which works great. Only fix might be replacing the radio; don't think it it's a part but not sure.
-sprayers and trays for headlights gone. I've capped of the hoses. can be replaced; I just didn't feel worth the $. E
-tilt on both front windows could use a fine adjusting.... every once in a while the seal with the top doesn't fit perfectly... but when that happens, if you open/close, it almost always sits on the next try.
-the rubber seal/gasket that goes along the small rear window on passenger side is old. Instead of replacing, I augmented with a bit of hard rubber that's doing just fine. Permanent fix = replace that little window.

I would think fixing all these things would bring it to "mint" for ~$2k?
