Power steering Pump Issues

Hey Guys, First of all this forum has been fantastic in helping out with the repairs I have done on my car. So many DIY's and helpful posts. I finally ran into a problem I couldn't figure out so I figured I'd post for some help.

So I have a 1999 bmw 323i sedan and just recently replaced the power steering pump on it (Luk-30) The replacement pump was a remanufactured one and matched the original pump to a tee. When I first hooked up the high pressure hose it was leaking between the hollow bolt and the hose. I put the new o rings on it and everything, but it still leaked. So I then compared the two pumps again and it turns out the hose inlet on the pump, the part that is threaded is about a half inch deeper in the new pump, so its not allowing the hose to fully come in contact with the inlet. I realize this would be better with pictures, and I'll post some when I can, but is there a different high pressure hose that I need instead with a longer hollow bolt on it? Or is it the wrong pump and I need to send it back? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
