Question Will these speakers fit/work?

Hey guys,
Since the first day I got my 2001 325i, the right passenger side speakers were messed up. Songs with a lot of bass would rattle on that side of the car and stock speakers have poor quality and sound quality is really important to me because I love my music loud and clear!

Many years ago my dad had an old Honda Accord and he bought speakers and a head unit to change on his car but never did and it's been in storage ever since.

The head unit is: Eclipse CD3434
The speakers (4 in total): are Eclipse SE8363 6 1/2 3-Way

I only want to install the speakers, without the head unit because I like the OEM BMW head unit.

My questions:
1. Will it work without the Eclipse head unit?
2. Will the speakers fit?
3. How will the speakers sound from a scale of 1-10?

P.S. I don't have an amplifier.

Thank you

They will probably not reach a very high volume. They are almost certainly 4ohm speakers, and the OEM speakers are 2ohm. This is why it is difficult to just drop new speakers in with a factory system.
But, lots of people have put 4ohm speakers in place of the factory ones. This is not good for the OEM amp, because the load is more than it is designed for.
Also, the signal going to the 5.25in speakers in the door, and the 6.5in speakers in the back deck is only low frequency (bass). So, the tweeters in those speakers will not be getting the high frequency sounds they need, and basically will not be used.
As far as fitting, you can make a 6.5in speaker fit in the front door, with some cutting. They should fit in the rear fine.
As far as sound, they may actually sound OK, but it will only be bass sound, and it may or may not damage your OEM amplifier. They will probably just make your other OEM speakers sound even worse.
I would save them until you can do a full aftermarket install, but there will be people who disagree with me on that.

Beg to differ with you concerning the load on the amp with 4 ohm speakers. The load is less with 4 ohm speakers as the current drain is approximately half of that of 2 ohm speakers. As far as loudness, the 4 ohm speakers will be plenty loud. I replaced all of the speakers in my. '01 330 Ci with 4 ohm speakers.

I did make a mistake regarding damage to the amplifier using 4ohm speakers. I will admit to that. But it was about 5:00am, so give me a pass on that. The truth is that using a speaker with a lower Ohm rating can damage amplifiers, not higher.
But, I am correct in saying that the higher load of a 4ohm speaker will result in a lower speaker output. The big question is whether it will be noticeable or not. Most of that depends on how efficient the speakers are.
But, I have no doubt that any aftermarket speaker, even a low quality one, will sound better than the old HK speakers in his car now. Even when they were new, the HK speakers were very cheaply made. After 6-10 years, they are probably shot. So, even though the replacements will have reduced output, they are bound to sound better.
The bigger issue is that the signal to the speaker is limited to the lower range, and and the sound from the tweeters will not be very good at all.
At this point, anything he stuffs in there will sound better than what he has. It is just a bit of a waste of a good 3 way speaker.
I just prefer aftermarket stereos and amps, compared to the low quality HK system. My first e46 had the HK say them, and got totaled before I had a chance to replace it. When I bought my current 330ci, I ripped out the old system, and installed an aftermarket head unit, and component speakers, and subs, with 3 amps driving it all.
