well thanks for the help. how about the offset combos and pcd? (i'm not even sure what pcd is) do these options impact performance? or is it more cosmetic then anything?

PCD - bolt pattern 5x120mm
18s or 19s doesn't matter 8.5" 35-40mm offset 9.5" 40-45mm offset 18s 235/40/18 and 255/35/18 19s 235/35/19 and 255/30/19 (or if you want to go a bit wider in tire then get a 265/30/19) |

also, any negatives to going with a 9.5 over an 8.5 rim?

^it'll be a heavier wheel...19's are strictly for looks, they'll noticeably make the car slower.
But hey, at least you'll look good going slow

A wider rear wheel LOOKS much better, but it also creates more understeer. So it's your choice. |

Looks like Chris took over the thread...
Roastbeef, since you are located in Huntington Beach come by our warehouse in Santa Ana and we can throw on some wheels for you. ![]() -Charles@VMRWheels

anyone have any illustrations that show the difference between say 235/35/19 and 255/30/19? i don't want my rim to be sticking out farther then the tire all retarded.

I also drive a 325. While I completely understand looks over performance(as a 325 is only a 325 anyway!) I can def feel the difference between the stock 17's and my 19s. The car has more pep with the 17's. Have you seen d-force empowers? They are 18" which will suit the car, especially if you lower it. While the 710s look good and all, they are NOT lightweight!

thanks for the info. do you guys have 18/19" rims with rubber mounted on them? i would like to come by and see if i can fit a rim to the car to gauge how i like the look of the size. i'm still flip-flopping between 18's and 19's.

If you want style and performance, O.Z. has a nice lineup of wheels.

charles, the car in the lower pic looks lowered, but do you know if the car in the upper pic has suspension mods?
