Hi all. I've just purchased my first vert and I collect it in a week or so. It comes with a hard top which is good. But I was wondering just how do you fit / remove it ? Is it an easy process ?
Thanks in advance. Last edited by lee0666; 09-22-2012 at 05:19 PM. |

Easy to remove. Drop windows, undo handles under visors(push button to release handle), open compartments under the rear dome lights and undo red handles to 90 degrees.
Top weighs about 66 pounds so it is light, but you might want to have someone help lift off to the rear of the car. I usually place a blanket on the trunk to avoid accidental scratch. Put top in a safe place where it will not get knocked over.

Unscrew the radio antenna or better yet, get yourself a stubbie - helps tremendously. Stubbie FTW.
