hey guys, was thinking of just replacing the failed one but saw some recommendations to do so in pairs. Not sure if the reasoning is solid enough there. thoughts? thx

The color difference will be clearly visible if you don't change them in pairs and the other old bulb might fail at any point so why risk it? Change them in pairs.

OEM yellow

or white, THE brightest xenon bulb out there

replaced xenon headlight still not working?

Hi, so the old d2s on the driver's side went out (was cloudy in the middle), I replaced it (and there really is no way to do that incorrectly) but it still does not work. Don't see how it could be related but it went out after it was on the jacks for new tires (just in case). What else could/should I look at? thx

Swap ballasts between the headlights. If the passenger side does not turn on then the ballast has to be replaced.

thanks, anything I could check first as swapping out the ballasts seems pretty engaged timewise.
