Yup, but they aren't calling the suspect a Marine or anything like that in the reports I've seen...just "lots of military knowledge" and things of that nature. Nevertheless, definitely a sad event. His book was a great read.

i dunno, this one says he is a former us marine. im not sure about what reports you have seen.

i havent had a chance to read his book, but i might have to now.

Oh ok, I guess the others didn't mention it. So he's a former Marine. I wonder what the punishment will be, and how much relief PTSD gives you in a murder trial.

It's a great read

i really feel for people who live with ptsd and similar disorders, however i hope he doesnt get a lesser sentence because of it. i believe(within reason) that people with a diminished capacity should still be held liable for their actions.

I agree. I do believe that it might be enough to go from the death penalty to life though.
