Any pro/minor league baseball players

I think the independent league isn't that bad from what I've seen. Some really good players play there for a season before the team signs them, especially if they're( pro team) about to pay big bucks.

I know nothing about the baseball scene but I played basketball for 3 years down in Mexico. Is it worth it playing international baseball because I know there's a basketball league in almost every country.

have you been training these past 3 years while just attending class? if not, how do you expect to compete at a high level by just showing up? if you haven't been putting in a couple of hours a day, don't bother even trying out. it will be an embarrassment.

Good point. If you haven't practiced, you need at least 6 months of heavy preparation.

If you want my honest opinion, unless you're just a phenomena, if you don't play college ball or get drafted high in high school, the chances are so low it's not even worth it. To make it in the minors you need to be drafted high enough that they have money invested in you to ever get playing time. First rounders always get playing time, and they won't let you go even if you're not producing. If they don't have anything invested in you, they don't play you nor care to keep you.

If I were you, I'd play at least Juco and see your chances, and reevaluate.
