I just installed my AVIN unit. The write up's on the install are great. I have some trouble shooting to do for the rear camera. LED on the license plate works. I have 12v at the reverse light but nothing at the head unit. When I supply 12v to the reverse wire at the head unit, the head unit activates the rear camera mode but I do not get video. I suppose I could have damaged the RCA during the install. Tomorrow I hope to eliminate that as a cause. I have noticed the screen backlight pulses slowly. Brighter then dimmer. Not very noticeable but still annoying. I have AT&T so the 3g WiFi dongle was a waste of time and cash. Stupid AT&T. I cannot sync the OBDII Bluetooth with the unit yet for some reason. We are still getting to know each other. I am sure I will enjoy the unit once I get all of the bugs out of me. Lol. Fit and finish is perfect. I would also like to upgrade the version of android. Some apps I like to use are not comparable with this version.

Hopefully the review the next day worked for your backup camera!

I just made a trip from corpus christi, tx to Dallas, TX and back. The camera was the least of the unit issues. I am not sure if I was having software problems or if I received a bad unit. I am waiting on details of the return policy. I hope I am not stuck with this until. AVIN USA seems like a very respectable company and I don't like to post negative reviews but I am not very impressed and even less satisfied with this product.

Speaking only for my experience, my first deck had an issue with screen flicker about three weeks in. Tommy replaced it quickly and with minimal hassle. The second unit has been flawless and I am extremely pleased with the deck

I was super excited to be able to afford the unit and order it. I fought off attacks from my wife about the cost once I ordered it. She was with me the whole way to Dallas and back. It was a bad trip to be me. Lol

I completely understand, but once the kinks are worked out it will be great. With the deck and speaker combination now, my partner wants to be in the car more often! She loves it and its the best sound system we have including the house!

I hope I do get them all worked out. Tommy has been quick to respond. I have no complaints with the company or the reps. I hope it is just a bad unit.
